Bavarian idyll meets design: a Swimming Pond with mountain views

This Swimming Pond project, realised in collaboration with graduate designer Späth from Bad Tölz, combines two previously separate gardens into one harmonious landscape. The challenge was to break up the plot offsets and the separation by a hedge in order to create a shared, yet individ ually usable garden landscape for both houses. The classic Swimming Pond offers refreshment in summer and cooling off after a sauna session all year round. Materials from the surrounding area, such as granite boulders from the Inn Valley and larch timber from Tyrol, emphasise the sustainable energy concept with ground storage collectors.
