Bio Pool with Blue Glass Tiles

The Australian BIOTOP partner was contacted by the owner of Villa Gusto in 2013.They wanted to build a pool with a difference for the guests, at their luxury Eco resort in Buckland valley. After a few discussions they settled for a formal reinforced concrete pool with blue glass tiles. One of the reasons they decided to go with the Living Pool was because the guests did not want to swim with nature (frogs and plants life). The pool is also fitted out with solar heating to extend the swimming season. A Remco Coverstar automatic pool cover was installed to keep out dust in summer and to insulate the water in the cooler season.
