Lincolnshire Natural Pool

This expansive Swimming Pond with 16 x 6 metres swim zone, surrounded by regeneration zones is designed for a family of five keen swimmers. It is situated in the middle of naturalistic planting, which we designed and landscaped, linking a formal house to the wildflower meadows below the pool. – A heaven for wildlife too. It was constructed with reinforced concrete, black TPO liner, sandstone coping on the internal and external walls and a deck of Siberian larch. “Floating” steppingstones lead across the water, a millstone sends relaxing ripples across the pond. An attractive shelving beach planted with fragrant mint and reeds increases thermal gain. Paved steps lead to a paved shallow end. In the plant filter grows Cyperus longis, water mint and native deep aquatics. Along the shoreline beautiful marginals flower from spring to autumn.
