The natural pool is our pride and joy

With the renovation and expansion of their hotel, the Marini family from Meran also implemented a new landscaping concept for the surrounding garden and grounds. A swimming pool that was increasingly showing its years was to make room for a natural pool. The building authorities in Meran would allow a maximum depth of only 1.4 meters for the swimming area, and the use of cement was prohibited. Biotop's corner element construction was recognized by the authorities as a construction method that conformed to nature. The underwater lighting is a major attraction, allowing the guests to spend long hours on the hotel terrace. The Natural Pool was built by an Austrian partner company of BIOTOP in South Tyrol.
