Converting a Swimming Pond into a Living Pool

A swimming pond built by a competitor company, in which the customer was practically drowning in algae, was converted into a Living Pool by a BIOTOP partner company. This was an enormous challenge, as it was impossible to use any kind of construction machinery. The regeneration zones from the previous swimming pond were redesigned as gravel surfaces. The equipment chambers were installed in the belowground areas of the former gravel filter. The conversion resulted in a very satisfied customer, who promised to recommend the system to friends and acquaintances.
