Swimming Pond in private landscaped park

This “garden” project challenged us as both – as gardeners and as natural pool constructors. We created a 200-metre-long pond, twisting through the landscape like a serpent, with a Swimming Pond integrated into its centre. Around all that we completely reshaped the landscaping, wich needed to be mature within the first year. That meant big trees, rhododendron groups with a hight of four metres and big elements to compete with the scale of the landscape. Natural water serves to connect it all. In the middle of the 200-metre-long pond is the swimming area. Around the houses we built shallow rectangular ponds. These ponds and the first section of the serpent-like pond have a black steel edge. The overall look is tidy and clean. In a second step, nature was introduced in the form of herbal vegetation. A regeneration area serves as filter. – A fully grown private park with the Biotop Swimming Pond in the heart of it.
