Natural Pool in New Zealand with stunning views

This elevated hillside property with stunning rural, mountain and sea views underwent a complete renovation where the Natural pool was integrated into the new Mediterranean look as a focal point for the entertainment area. The brief required a lower deck being at pool level, a fishpond on the upper deck level and a cascading watercourse with the visual illusion of connecting the pond with the pool. An outdoor shower, a pizza oven and a spa pool were also integrated. The design consisted of a curved front wall to take in the vast view and two regeneration zones. A jetty across gives access to the other side. The overall orientation creates the effect of an infinity pool with views below and beyond. Lush planting in and around the pool as well as plastered seating and retaining walls between the two deck levels complement the Mediterranean look.
